【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedtomeasurethetotalandexternalsurfaceareaofcarbonblacksbasedonmultipointnitrogenadsorption.TheNSAmeasurementisbasedontheB.E.T.theoryanditincludesthetotalsurfacearea,inclusiveofmicropores,porediameterslessthan2nm(20E).Theexternalsurfacearea,basedonthestatisticalthicknessmethod(STSA),isdefinedasthespecificsurfaceareathatisaccessibletorubber.CTABSurfaceArea(formerlyTestMethodD3765)hasbeenwithdrawn.TheCTABvaluemaybeestimatedfromtheSTSAvalueusingEq1.TheequationisbasedonalinearregressionoftheSTSAandCTABmeasuredvaluesoftheSRB5standards.1.1ThistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthetotalsurfaceareabytheBrunauer,Emmett,andTeller(B.E.T.NSA)theoryofmultilayergasadsorptionbehaviorusingmultipointdeterminationsandtheexternalsurfaceareabasedonthestatisticalthicknesssurfaceareamethod.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.(Theminimumsafetyequipmentshouldincludeprotectivegloves,sturdyeyeandfaceprotection).
