【摘要】:ThispartofISO22762specifiesminimumrequirementsandtestmethodsforelastomericseismicisolatorsusedforbuildingsandtherubbermaterialusedinthemanufactureofsuchisolators.Itisapplicabletoelastomericseismicisolatorsusedtoprovidebuildingswithprotectionfromearthquakedamage.Theisolatorscoveredconsistofalternateelastomericlayersandreinforcingsteelplates.Theyareplacedbetweenasuperstructureanditssubstructuretoprovidebothflexibilityfordecouplingstructuralsystemsfromgroundmotion,anddampingcapabilitytoreducedisplacementattheisolationinterfaceandthetransmissionofenergyfromthegroundintothestructureattheisolationfrequency.

【摘要】:Insulationsthatareusedasapartofthethermalinsulationsystemincontactwithausteniticstainlesssteelsmaybecomecontaminatedwithwatersolublechlorideionswhich,inturn,ifpermittedtoreachthestainlesssteelsurface,couldcontributetoexternalstresscorrosioncracking(ESCC).Therefore,itisimportanttoreducetheexposureofsuchinsulatingmaterialstowater-solublechlorideioncompoundsatallstagesofmanufacture,handling,shipping,storage,andapplication.Duringmanufacture,precautionsshallbetakentominimizewatersoluble-chlorideioncontent,bothinthematerialandassurfacecontamination.Oncethemanufactureiscomplete,caremustbeexercisedduringhandling,transporting,shipping,storage,receiving,andapplicationtoavoidcontaminationwithchlorideionsthatcanbetransportedbywaterthroughtheinsulationmaterialsontothestainlesssteelsurface.Thispracticepresentscriteriawhich,iffollowed,willminimizetherisksofESCCassociatedwiththeapplicationofinsulationmaterials.Itshouldbeemphasized,however,thatbecauseofthemanyvariablefactorspresent,completefreedomfromESCCcannotbeassuredunderallcircumstances,evenwhenfollowingtheguidanceofthispractice.Continuedprotectionoftheinsulationandthestainlesssteelsurfacefrommoistureandcontaminationaftertheinsulationsystemisinstalledandoveritsentireservicelifeisofsignificantimportance.In-servicecontaminationcanoccurfrommanysources;forexample,fromairbornecontaminates,rainorsaltspray,periodicfiresprinklersystemtests,wash-downs,orprocessleakage.Weatherbarrierjacketingsystemsandproperapplicationshouldbechosentoprovidelong-termprotectionintheintendeduseenvironment.Theentireinsulationsystemshouldbeperiodicallyinspectedandmaintained.Insulationthatissuspectedofcontaminationshouldberetestedorimmediatelyreplaced.Washdownofinsulatedpipeandequipmentshouldbeavoided.Wheneverpossible,protectivecoatingsorfinishesshouldbeapplieddirectlytothestainlesssteelsurfaceastheprimarysourceofcorrosionprotection.1.1Thispracticeisintendedtoprovideguidanceanddirectioninthehandling,transporting,shipping,storage,receiving,andapplicationofthermalinsulatingmaterialstobeusedasasurfacetreatmentoraspartofthethermalinsulationsystemincontactwithausteniticstainlesssteel.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
