【摘要】:Thesuccessofasamplingeventisinfluencedbyadequateplanningandpreparation.Useofthisguidewillhelptheground-watersamplertomethodicallyexecutetheplanningandpreparation.Thisguideshouldbeusedbyaprofessionalortechnicianthathastrainingorexperienceinground-watersampling.1.1Thisguidecoversplanningandpreparingforaground-watersamplingevent.Itincludestechnicalandadministrativeconsiderationsandprocedures.ExamplechecklistsarealsoprovidedasAppendices.1.2Thisguidemaynotcovereveryconsiderationprocedure,orboth,thatisnecessarybeforeallground-watersamplingprojects.Inkarstorfracturedrockterranes,itmaybeappropriatetocollectgroundwatersamplesfromsprings(seeGuideD5717).Thisguidefocusesonsamplingofgroundwaterfrommonitoringwells;however,mostoftheguidancehereincanapplytothesamplingofspringsaswell.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.3Thisguideoffersanorganizedcollectionofinformationoraseriesofoptionsanddoesnotrecommendaspecificcourseofaction.Thisdocumentcannotreplaceeducationorexperienceandshouldbeusedinconjunctionwithprofessionaljudgment.Notallaspectsofthisguidemaybeapplicableinallcircumstances.ThisASTMstandardisnotintendedtorepresentorreplacethestandardofcarebywhichtheadequacyofagivenprofessionalservicemustbejudged,norshouldthisdocumentbeappliedwithoutconsiderationofaproject''smanyuniqueaspects.Theword"Standard"inthetitleofthisdocumentmeansonlythatthedocumenthasbeenapprovedthroughtheASTMconsensusprocess.
